Bad hair day? Don’t know her.

Hats are magic. Not the pulling-rabbits kind...more the I’m mysterious, and don’t bother me. It’s the accessory that quietly commands attention, ties an outfit together, and if we’re being honest- saves the day when your hair has other plans.
Funny hats? The uglier, the better. I’ve never met a novelty visor or a hat shaped like a piece of cheese that didn’t immediately scream, “NO I didn’t lose a bet, I chose this.”
And then there’s the practical side: hats are the unsung heroes of a busy week. They instantly fix a flat hair day, camouflage a skipped shampoo (or three), and bring intention to any outfit when I have exactly five minutes to get out the door. They’re my go-to for travel, long workdays, and those in-between wash days when dry shampoo just isn’t cutting it.
Chic hats are a mainstay in a wardrobe: think classic boater hat, minimalist bucket hat, and sleek caps that elevate even the simplest jeans-and-tee look. But I also love a bit of whimsy with unexpected textures, bold colors, and silhouettes that make you smile before you even get out the door.

I love that hats can be both statement and solution, equal parts style and strategy. They allow me to express my mood, polish a look, and extend the life of a blowout without sacrificing confidence or creativity.
Personally, I love a good hat moment, whether it’s structured and sculptural or casual and cheeky, I’m all for wearing what makes you feel good. But the one hat I’ll never co-sign is that infamous red one stamped with a slogan that’s come to represent division, ignorance, and harm. Fashion should empower, not alienate and I’ll never support anything tied to Trump or what he stands for.
